KAVUKIRE Alexis (Born 10 December 1994) Is a Rwandan professional journalist, Award organizer.

has six years of professional experience in Media and Communication in the different media house in Rwanda, currently in ISANGO Star. He was previously the Chief Producer and founder of #IMA ISANGO NA MUZIKA AWARDS that he headed for more than three years working with the Government institution and Private institution and Rwanda Creative industry. Mr. KAVUKIRE Alex He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Communication from the Institute Catholique de Kabgayi (ICK) and Master’s degree in Development Studies from Kigali Independent University UKL, and a Media diversity and Culture pluralism certificate from UNESCO

speaks four languages: English, French, Kinyarwanda and Kiswahili.

In 2020, He created Award called ISANGO NA MUZIKA AWARD with the aim to empowering Rwandan music industry practitioners. IMA Awards appreciate, motivate and support talents in different spheres of the creative industry.
