Theogene IYAKAREMYE, born with physical impairment (lack of lower limbs) in 1986 in One thousand Hills of Rwanda, Ruhinga cell, Kivuruga sector in Gakenke District now, a resident of Musanze District due to the inadequate reasonable accomodation characterizedby Rwandan rural areas.

Holder of bachelor's degree of science in Statistics Applied to Economy (statistian & economist), Advanced diploma in Mathematics-aphysics and Geography at Nyarutovu Secondary School, son of Gaspard MABURAKINDI and Speciose KABARORE. Nor ally, I studied my primary studies by being always carried by my father though bring me to school then come back to take me at home at the end of the day courses. Nowadays, I am young trainer in work readiness and employability’s training sessions for the vulnerable Rwandan youths, mentor of Village Loans & Savings Group (VLSGs) for People with Disabilities (PWDs) as well as) independent researcher and activist for the promotion of the rights of persons with disabilities by inspiring entire world since my physical disability have not been a big barriers to me even if it has not let me to move normally with my legs (impairment) and it did not stopped me absolutely to attend school like other without disabilities. My High school studied was achieved in collaboration with catholic father Louis Hernandes, Museke Association & Ayoudamos Á Africa from Spain and others different people who supported me by paying school fees and all accommodation required at schools community while secondary education was accomplished for financial support from catholic sisters of charity (Filles de la charité de Nemba) and the aids/support from Gakenke District former of Nyarutovu District as well as sector fund of education. For me ‘Disability is a special ability'. on my point of view, people with disabilities are facing with inaccessible information and communication, physical barriers, lack of economic resources, inappropriate tearching technology for PWDs. I am here by confirming that to have disability does not implicate to not be able to work and to do all things like those ones without disabilities only one way is to remove all barriers and to give us reasonable accomodations by respecting the building code and availling equipment for PWDs.
